In 1999 West Country began with 19 local teachers and 5 schools in Wiltshire.  Our 25 year journey has seen many changes; school curriculums come and go, some schools have closed, new schools have opened, academies have been created, strikes held, OFSTED inspections conducted and the COVID pandemic affected us all.

Now, in 2024, we have over 150 teachers and work with more than 250 primary schools in Wiltshire, Bath, Swindon, Somerset and Hampshire.

This year we are proud to celebrate that whilst there have been many changes and challenges, we are still here - still holding the same values.  We work to ensure that we understand the ethos of our local schools, supporting our local teachers to ensure they receive the work they want, respecting their choice of age range, location and frequency of work.  We pay fairly and charge with school budgets and restrictions at the forefront of our minds.
